    Virtually all solar panels are DC, unless they have a built-in inverter. Though these panels are a relatively high voltage (compared to most others), they are DC. You will need a higher voltage charge controller (for off-grid) such as the [Xantrex Solar Charge Controller 60A MPPT-60], or use them in strings of 3 panels in series for a grid tie inverter like the SMAs.
